TS RECORDS may be looking to boost their team with a gospel artist!

Sunday Sun understands the faded record company is after gospel star Fikile Mlomo’s signature. Sources said Fikile has been seen with DJ Sbu in the past few months.

A source said Fikile has been performing at DJ Sbu’s business summits all over the country.

Fikile’s been involved in a battle with her former boss, Tshepo Nzimande, of Zuz’muz Music, over her clearance from the company.

“DJ Sbu is impressed by Fikile,” said a source.

Another source said: “DJ Sbu was hurt by rumours that they’ve abandoned their record label by Thembinkosi Nciza.

“He told us he wants Fikile at TS Records. She left people begging for more at each of his summits. Sadly, he didn’t know Fikile has started her own label.”

A gospel star said: “Fikile is on her own under her record label, Fikile Mlomo Music Productions. But the business side of things is slow. Maybe TS Records is the answer.”

Sunday Sun has learnt during one of his summits, DJ Sbu was overheard telling fans that Fikile is on her way up and will concur Africa under TS Records.

DJ Sbu said: “I can’t comment on our music plans, as I’m busy with my Kicking Doors and Mofaya. Fikile is a brillant artist that we need to cherish. There is no record label owner that will deny such talent”

Tshepo refused to comment on the matter and said: “We’re still awaiting the outcome of the court.”

Fikile said: “I was with DJ Sbu in the Northern Cape last week. Please let’s talk about my album.”
