AWARD-WINNING hip hop star Cassper Nyovest claims he’s broke.
But his alleged financial woes come at a time when the rapper’s plate is seemingly filled with responsibilities that demand his undivided attention.
Chief among those responsibilities is that Cassper and his Durban squeeze, Thobeka Majozi, have a bundle of joy on the way, according to rumours doing the rounds.
And insiders claim Thobeka is five months pregnant.
Though it remains unclear whether the lovers are excepting a boy or girl, reliable sources said the pair was more concerned about having a healthy baby than about its gender.
Said the first mole: “She’s gone out of her way to hide her pregnancy from the public because she knows her man is under the spotlight.
“And as a commitment to the couple’s privacy, Thobeka has even stopped posting frequently on Instagram.”
According to the second mole, Cassper was thrilled about the baby, despite his alleged financial headache.
Insisted the well-placed source: “Cassper and his girlfriend have even been talking about getting a bigger car to accommodate their young family.”
Another insider said the couple had broken the news to Thobeka’s family.
This source even went as far as saying Thobeka’s mum and elder sisters were happy and had been supportive throughout her pregnancy.
“She’s been spending more time at home in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, because the environment that side is conducive to and healthier for the baby,” the mole said.
“Her man has constantly been visiting her whenever he finds time.”
Claimed the third source: “Cassper met Thobeka’s family and they have nothing but love for the dude.
“The way they embrace him, you’d swear he was already their son-in-law. Anyhow, Cassper plans to send his uncles to pay damages before the baby is born, so the child can have his surname.”
Both Cassper and Thobeka could not be reached for comment.
They also failed to respond to our SMSes at the time of going to press.
