The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the 26-year-old allegedly hit her boyfriend, Andre Smith, with her car on Thursday, 2 June, in the parking lot of a pub.
The statement said police arrived to find Smith laying on the ground underneath a car after it appeared he had been struck by it.
According to the Daily Star, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A witness said Morris had told her she was in a relationship with Smith, and tracked him down with an AirTag when she believed he was cheating on her with another woman.
After arriving at pub, she allegedly grabbed an empty wine bottle and swung it at the other woman, but Smith intervened and the three were asked to leave by staff.
