FORMER Durban Gen actor Mxolisi “Zuluboy” Majozi wants justice for his uncle’s murder.

The actor and rapper said his uncle, Sipho Zuma (45), was killed in a hail of bullets outside his home in Inanda, north of Durban. And two weeks after the incident, no arrests have been made.

“Eyewitnesses said two people came out of nowhere and shot him when he was about to enter his home. They then fled in a car. When we checked his body, he was shot 10 times, mostly on the head,” said Zuluboy, adding that he lost a cool uncle.

“I’m sad and worried that the killers won’t be found and arrested. My uncle was well-known in the area and loved by residents. He loved helping them and he was full of jokes. He would sing out loud and everyone would laugh. He can’t die and people who murdered him get away with it.

“I’m so sad that the killers are still roaming the streets while my uncle, my best friend and personal comedian, is six feet under.”

Sipho’s older sister, Thokozani Sibisi, said Zuluboy and her brother were close.

“When they were together, you’d swear they were kids. They used to joke and play.”

Constable Thenjiswa Ngcobo said: “On 9 June at 4pm, police were called to a murder scene in Amaoti. On arrival, they were shown a body of a man with multiple gunshot wounds, lying on a gravel road. A case of murder was opened and the matter is under investigation,” said Ngcobo.
