A two-year-old child has been treated and transported to hospital.

This after a building collapsed on Dr Pixley Kaseme street in Durban.

KwaZulu Natal Emergency Services says over nine people were assessed by paramedics so far.

KZN EMS said eight of them have been taken to hospital.
