This past valentines weekend saw social media filled up with images of couples all around the world celebrating their love. As is always the case, some of our favourite celebrities took 'wine and dine' to another level of extravagance and we are here for it!
From beds of roses and expensive gifts to booking out entire stadiums and experiencing private musical performances, these celebrities and their partners seriously rose to the occasion!

For Valentine’s Day, Lerato Kganyago’s husband, Thami Ndlela surprised the radio personality by booking the entire Soccer City Stadium for dinner and got her a private performance by award-winning musician Zonker - who serenaded the couple.
On her Instagram stories, Loretta shared the beautiful surprise of fans and revealed how she always wanted to see Zonke perform live,
“Many of you know how much I love her. I’ve opened up for her a few times, but I have never seen her perform live. I’ve always had to depart immediately after… my dream has always been to see her perform live!”
Khanyi Mbau and her businessman partner, Kudzai spared no expense when gifting each other. The self-proclaimed queen of bling bought her man a brand new Apple desktop while he returned the favour by gifting her with over 1000 roses, a number of Louis Vuitton items, as well as a private performance by a violinist and a saxophonist that he flew from Cape Town.
The two then continued their Valentine’s celebration with a luxurious boozy lunch in a different location.
Lasizwe and his bae went on a weekend getaway with friends where they got up to a number of romantic activities.
In his Instagram stories, the social media star showed us his partner driving him to a surprise venue while he was blindfolded. He was showered with a Versace gift as well as a romantic lunch that was filled with balloons and ended with a romantic date.
DJ Tira and his wife, Gugu Khathi celebrated their union of 16 years with a glamorous champagne spa date. Taking to Instagram, Gugu shared how their day went, wrote a lengthy caption - written in the style of lyrics - thanking her husband for their love.
