The 2023 tax season officially started on 7 July and the South African Revenue Service (SARS) has already been rolling out notices and auto-assessments for your attention.

Sitting down to sort out and file your taxes can be seen as an arduous task that many have come to dread, but tackling it head on can give you that much-needed peace of mind.

This year’s filing season for individual taxpayers runs up until midnight on 23 October 2023. Provisional taxpayers and trusts will need to adhere to the 24 January 2024 deadline.
