In the early days of romance, finances are probably the last thing on the minds of most couples, but it’s a topic that soon becomes pretty important.

In researching his book, Couples and Money (available from Amazon), James Walker found that 47 percent of people he surveyed stated that having an adequate amount of money was more important for a successful relationship than having an adequate amount of sex.

Let’s face it, they may have a point – if you’re constantly squabbling over money, it probably won’t be long before it starts having an impact in the bedroom!
