The Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is one of the most coveted qualifications.

Like many people, I have dreamt of walking on stage to accept that degree, and then strutting down the corridors of the media corporation where I work, deciding which office I’d like best.

If you ask the average working class South African what the purpose of an MBA is, you get an overwhelming variety of answers that leave you even more confused than before. This qualification originated in the United States more than a century ago.
