Summer is coming with Thabooty’s bikini range set to launch soon on the Uber Eats app.
Media personality Thando Thabethe has announced that the summer range of her underwear and shapewear brand will be available on he app because "Thabooty's prides itself in being an easily accessible brand".
"We will usher in summer flavours on the app with the introduction of our SS 23 swimwear range, which will be available soon!!!" Thando says in an Instagram post.
The brand launched in 2017 and diversified underwear and shapewear by providing sexy undergarments for women of different shapes, sizes, colours and creeds that weren't easily found in retail stores.
"The idea to create Thabooty’s came from my own personal experience of struggling to find any sexy yet functional shapewear, locally. I wanted to give women a more attractive option for shapewear, that is appealing to the eye and caters for different shapes and sizes", Thando says via statement.

Now, with swimwear on the cards, the intimates brand is doubling down on convenience efforts by being listed on the food ordering app for delivery or pick up.
"Over the years, we have seen wonderful growth and we are delighted to collaborate with Uber Eats to make Thabooty’s more accessible to women by delivering to their doorstep at the touch of a button," she adds.
The head of New Verticals for Uber Eats Sub-Saharan Africa, Cikida Gcali-Mabusela, says: "We are excited about having Thabooty’s as the newest addition to our suite of female-owned businesses on the platform and are looking forward to seeing them grow from strength to strength.

Thabooty’s is available on Uber Eats via its stores in Dainfern, The Glen and online for shoppers outside of Johannesburg.
