Lamiez has made it big in the DJing world, claiming the title of DJ of the Year at the 2022 Basadi in Music Awards and was honoured in 2021 at the South African Heroines Awards for her philanthropic work with the Lamiez Holworthy Foundation.
The foundation provides aid to and advocates for orphans by partnering with different clubs and organisations and in 2019, she adopted 30 orphans to house in a home she has been transforming, showcasing just how important Lamiez’s philanthropic work is to her.
