Whether she’s gracing the red carpet, making glamorous appearances or making the world her runway, media personality Boity Thulo takes her craft and her style seriously.

Hailing from Potchefstroom, the 33-year-old Wuz Dat hitmaker’s career first began when she was presenting the YoTV educational show Crib Notes in 2011.

Since then, Boity has gone from hosting shows like Ridiculousness Africa and Big Brother Africa, to making her TV and film debut in the drama series Rockville and then film Dear Betty, respectively.

Following the takeoff of her music career in 2018 and her latest remix of K.O's hit Rockabye, Boity has ventured into almost every avenue you can think of.

In business, Boity has since ventured into entrepreneurship with her alcoholic and non-alcoholic spritzer brand BT Signature, in partnership with winemaker Matthew Krone, as well as shaking up the hair industry in 2022 with the launch of her hair brand Be You.

Boity has also previously collaborated with fashion label Sissy Boy on a jean collection personifying her fashion sense, showing that it isn’t a stretch of the imagination to see just how influential Boity’s style is.

Revealing how her initial career path geared her towards studying for a degree in criminal psychology – a qualification she couldn’t finish due to not being able to afford her final year – it’s clear that Boity talent and determination kept her going all the way to the top.
