Rich Mnisi and H&M South Africa join forces for an exclusive collaboration

Street style, meet luxury.

H&M South Africa has just announced a new collaboration with luxury fashion designer Rich Mnisi, set to be released in selected H&M stores and exclusively on the online shopping platform Superbalist from 27 July 2023.

Mzansi’s arm of the global clothing company says that the new collection will feature high-quality basics and relaxed oversized fits paired with iconic Rich Mnisi designs.

H&M South Africa prides itself in offering sustainable fashion pieces, something that has always been at the core of the Rich Mnisi line.

Environmentally friendly and local economic development have been at the forefront of the Rich Mnisi Brand, with website highlighting that, “We believe that our main responsibility is to create high quality items that are true to our contemporary aesthetic and are produced responsibly at all levels of the production cycle.”

If the promotional imagery is anything to go by, we can expect iconic Rich Mnisi prints, seasonal autumnal hues and designs.

Our local celebrities took to social media to express their excitement for the new collection with H&M South Africa, with stars like Boity, Young Stunna, Zozibini Tunzi, Siphesihle Ndaba and more commenting their anticipation for the collaboration.

Rich Mnisi designs have been synonymous with challenging gender norms and promoting freedom of expression. The designer’s last collaboration with Adidas for Pride 2023, Let Love Be Your Legacy, served as a rallying cry for active allyship to empower and champion the LGBTQIA+ community.
