We love an awards show that appreciates the value of a good red carpet.
Looking the part, a few celebrities who double as influencers dominated the second annual of the DStv Content Creators Awards red carpet at the Galleria in Sandton.
The awards' purple carpet saw a number of talents strutting their best look fit for the Creative Black-Tie theme. The likes of Lasizwe, K Noami, Bontle Modiselle and more arrived fashionably.
One person who got people talking was reality TV star and YouTuber Lasizwe after photos of his arrival look circulated. He wore a mermaid sheer dress that seemed glued to his body and revealed a tong. He shared that this look was inspired by TikToker Kagiso Mogola.
What further fueled the fire were his exposed butt cheeks, with its more voluptuous share leading some to speculate whether he had done a Brazilian butt lift, also known as a BBL.
The show kicked off with an electrifying performance from the Bontle Modiselle Dance Studio, accompanied by the Dance Award category nominees.
The late rapper AKA won the Song of the Year award which was received by his mother Lynn Forbes, with Kefilwe Mabote walking away with the fashion and style awards among other recipients who walked away with awards.

Here are the top looks from the red carpet at the Content Creators Awards 2023.
1. Candice Modiselle
Rocking a red number, Candice incorporated the popular sheer fabric, feathers and a slit to her dress as she dazzled the red carpet.
2. Farieda Metsileng
Farieda, who goes by Pharoahfi on her social platforms, wore a printed mesh dress.
3. Ponahalo Mojapelo
The supermodel, who has walked the runway for the likes of Thebe Magugu and rocked threads by Rich Mnisi, arrived in a custom-made outfit made using denim cutoffs.
3. Brenda Mhlongo
The River actress Brenda Mhlongo also attended the hip awards. She wore a metallic dress with an up-do.
4. Bontle Modiselle in Sihle the Designer
After bringing the house down with a stellar performance alongside fellow dance nominees, she took to Instagram to express gratitude saying, "This is our second year making magic together with @oneeyedjacksa and we’d do it a thousand times over."
5. Lasizwe styled by Lindani Styling
Some loved the media personality's look as he follows the steps of the likes of Pearl Thusi and Gabriel Union who have unapologetically rocked the sheer look. He later changed into his second look, an all-white streetwear outfit.

6. Nomuzi "Moozlie" Mabena dressed in Style Rotate
TV personality Moozlie stunned in gold ensemble serving legs and topping it off with bleached short hair.
7. K Naomi dressed in RethaN
Taking it to Instagram, K Naomi captioned her post: "Last night at the Content Creator Awards SA. Grateful and blessed for the nomination and recognition."
8. Thimna Shooto
The Love Island SA winner also strutted the carpet in a sheer look, topping it off with curly hair.
