Durban came alive with visitors from all over the country to celebrate at the annual event that brings together the best of horse racing, parties, hospitality and fashion at such a large scale in one weekend.
As many indulged in food, drinks and world-class hospitality while enjoying the warm weather – fashion was a key part of this momentous day.
Hollywoodbets set the theme Out of this World and celebrities, influencers and ‘July attendees at large put their best fashion foot forward.

For her first outing in a while, actress Jessica Nkosi – who happened to also be awarded the Best Dressed title on the day, said, “Ya listen this was such a fun day… I literally had the best time ever.”
While some of the celebrities who attended showed up in standout threads, the Dove fashion showcase was among the most memorable. In an explosion of colour, vibrant energy and pure beauty, the brand spotlighted its Dove 100 Colours activation on the Durban July stage.
Curated by fashion consultant Yoliswa Mqoco, Dove put on a show illustrating the power of its Invisible Dry range, which is tested on 100 colours with the claim of leaving no white marks on clothes.

Emerging from a sea of a paparazzi flash mob in glamourous garments designed by Cape Town-based designer Kat Van Duinen, Dove handpicked these three style stars for the show.
Ubuyanini hit-maker Thabsie stepped out in an all-white ensemble – a feather coat and lace bell-bottom trousers. Yoliswa had a Met Gala-esque outfit transformation on stage and metamorphosised from a monochrome piece into a vibrant evening look topped off with a multi-coloured ruffle jacket. Ms Paule Bee, as she is known by her online community, dazzled in a long sleeve peach mesh gown.
As the curator of the fashion showcase, Yoliswa says. “This was honestly just the best way to represent what Dove can do and protect all your clothing and all its 100 colours. And, we really hope that you guys enjoyed this and thank you guys for being here. Thank you for constantly supporting Dove. We are so, so happy to be here today.”
