In a heartbreaking turn of events, Kwaito star Nomasonto Maswanganyi - affectionately known as Mshoza - has passed away. The news of her passing have been confirmed by a number of sources including her manager Thandoxulo Jindela. Details surrounding her death are not clear at the moment, but it's been reported that she passed away in a hospital in Springs, Gauteng.
Mshoza rose to stardom when she released her hit single Kortes (featuring Mzambiya) from her debut album Bulldawgz First Lady - which came out in 2002. She went on to become an icon in the Kwaito space and released other hit songs such as Hlaba Lingene, Abantu Bam and Ayina Chorus.
