South African DJ and producer, Kgaogelo Moagi - who is popularly known by his stage name, Master KG - walked away with the Best African Act award at the MTV EMA Awards which took place on Sunday, 8 November.
He was up against Nigeria’s Burna Boy as well as his fellow countrymen, Kabza de Small and DJ Maphorisa.
In a virtually recorded speech, Master KG thanked his fans for making Jerusalema one of the biggest songs in the world.
“I would love to thank my sister Nomcebo, my team Open Mic Productions, and everyone who has supported Master KG, thank you so much. To all my fans all over the world, without you this would have not been possible,” he said.
