This past weekend was a heavy one for the South African television industry and for the country as a whole as we lost two iconic performers - Menzi Ngubane and Noxolo Maqashalala.
Tributes have since been pouring in for both of the late stars. The most recent of these were tributes from Connie and Shona Ferguson for their long-time colleague, Menzi Ngubane.

“Ngubs!!! This is too much!
May God give Sike and the Ngubane family strength and courage to deal with this loss!
You are in our prayers! I am seriously at a loss! As legends never die, you live on in our hearts and your amazing library of work!”
Shona Ferguson also took to his page to share similar sentiments:
“#RIP NGUBS. You will never be forgotten.
Our deepest condolences to the Ngubane family. Know that GOD is with you always.
