  • Sibongile and the Dlaminis surpassed 2 million live views.
  • The telenovela will continue to air with season two every Monday to Wednesday.
  • The Mzansi Wethu show stars Luyanda Zwane who plays Sibongile.

It seems like Sibongile’s story has touched the lives of many, keeping audiences glued to their screens, making the telenovela Sibongile and the Dlaminis the most viewed telenovela on DSTV’s Mzansi Wethu.

After surpassing 2 million views in March and reaching an amount of 2 688 338 live viewers, the telenovela beats every other Mzansi Wethu show with live views.

Sibongile and the Dlaminis centres around the story of Sibongile Mbambo, played by Luyanda Zwane, who comes from humble beginnings and finds herself becoming a domestic worker for the wealthy Dlamini family. She gets exposed to the fancy and lavish lifestyle of the rich because she gets to live with the Dlaminis in their luxurious mansion.

However, it’s not all sunshine and roses for Sibongile because her love life and desire for a better financial standing bring challenges that not only affect her but her loved ones and employers as well.
