The say time heals and Khanyi Mbau and her man seem to be a testament to that.
The actress and reality TV queen and her businessman boo from Zimbabwe, Kudzai Mushonga, have had their fair share of ups and downs but their love seems back on track.
The couple made their debut on the first season of Young, Famous & African in its pilot episode that premiered in March 2022, which introduced us to the Khanyi’s newly found cougar lifestyle.
“I thought I’d be a sugar baby all my life. But now I’m a cougar. I’m dating a 28-year-old and I’m 35. Men are like the police, they protect and serve, period.
“Mr K is the brigadier. He runs the station. The sheriff … Is Kudzi a bad boy? Yes. He’s got a crazy life. ‘Alleged’ stole money,” Khanyi reveals in episode one.

Since then, Khanyi and Kudzai have kept their fans hooked on the saga of their love story. From taking over Dubai to their rumoured split in May 2023, the two have been seen loving it up on each other’s social media pages.
The pair even took to their Instagram stories to tease one other about the possibilities of bringing new life into the world and their followers are eating it up.

In an Instagram post from 20 August 2023, Khanyi describes her relationship with Kudzai by penning in the caption, “The best medicine usually never tastes so good but it heals you. Each dose of you gets me to a better place each time.”
With celebrities like Connie Ferguson, Sophie Ndaba, Tshego Manche and more adding their praises in the comments, Khanyi and Kudzai’s relationship is one to watch.
