After Darius Jackson’s dramatic public meltdown following Keke Palmer's appearance at an Usher concert - many were keen to see whether the relationship would survive it.
On an episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Keke was asked if she was still romantically involved with the father of her son for the first time after the dramatic online outbursts.
In a since-deleted tweet, Darius wrote after getting backlash, "We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn't want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case."
In August 2023, a source told ET Online that Keke and Darius had split, reporting, "Keke and Darius called it quits shortly after he called her out on Twitter for her outfit at the Usher concert. Keke is focusing on her work and her six-month-old son ... the actor and Darius have been co-parenting, but for now, they aren’t together."
However, the pair were recently spotted together at a Beyoncé concert following deafening silence from Keke after Darius' episode. She also starred in an Usher music video for his new single called Boyfriend.
Keke and Darius also appeared on an Instagram Live together while enjoying a meal together for her 30th birthday. "D, thank you for taking me out on my birthday as always," Keke said.
According to People, the musician showcased photos of Darius as well as their son during a sweet slideshow as part of her Big Boss Tour stop at Webster Hall in New York City on 25 September 2023.
Though the Nope star doesn't seem interested in feeding the rumours, when asked if they are still together on the TV interview, she responded: "Not y’all trying to get into it! They are trying it on the Today show," she says. Adding, "I’m going to take a page out of my girl Beyoncé’s book: Mind ya'll business."

The Jump In co-star and Darius started dating after meeting at an Insecure afterparty hosted by Global Icon Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Diddy. They welcomed their baby boy Leodis in February 2023 months after Keke revealed her pregnancy during a monologue for Saturday Night Live (SNL).
