Former Skeem Saam actress and media personality Amanda Du-Pont is out and about with her mother, Antoinette Du-Pont.
From statement swimsuits and ocean views to luxury clothing brands and sundowners, the duo seems to be having the time of their lives in the Maldives!
From 29 January to 8 of February 2024, Amanda frequently shared her holiday experiences with fans and, clearly, this is one trip that sets the tone for 2024. The actor is known for her glamorous holidays around the world like France and Thailand in June 2023 and Dubai in March 2022. Her trips are giving lavish, with designer clothing and gourmet meals on the menu.
In a recent Instagram post, Amanda shared how this is a precious moment for her as she spends time with one of the people who have constantly wished her well.
In the caption, she writes, “One of the greatest things we can do in this life is to share our joys and experiences with our parents. Took my mom with me to the Maldives, and she is soooo happy. I feel so fulfilled. This is what matters in life. It’s them who are on their knees praying for us.”

Amanda further joked that her mother has taken the influencer role as she repeatedly captured fit pics and sang gospel tunes with jubilation. This is not new to Antoinette because she is a former Miss Swaziland second princess and one of Amanda’s followers boasted about this in the comment section. “Your mom was our very own Miss Swaziland for those who did not know,” commented @bukhosibajlo.
Amanda writes, “Highlight is praying on our knees together every night, thanking God for the opportunity to travel and for all he does to keep us.”
We might also witness a petition for Amanda to run for Miss Swaziland, or perhaps Miss South Africa, as she frequently posted sunbathed images of her elegant physic in bikinis, which kept her Instagram followers amazed.
