Season 4 of Big Brother Mzansi has come to an end, having McJunior Zondi bagging the R2 million cash prize.

This was an unexpected outcome for McJunior and many other Big Brother Mzansi fans who believed Tshepo 'Makhekhe' Tau would be winning this season of the show.

“I was in absolute disbelief when my name was called. I  would’ve picked everybody else to win in that house,” McJunior tells TRUELOVE, explaining that he also thought Makhekhe would be the winner.

However, as much as he was shocked when he found out that he won, he mentioned that winning was the goal and that its what motivated him from the beginning until the end.

“I’m goal orientated, you give me a goal and I’m working towards it, I don’t care what it takes. So, for me it was the bag.”

He adds that everything else was secondary for him and winning was the main objective.

One of McJunior's biggest challenges in the house was having to adapt to the different personalities of the other housemates, especially in the first few weeks when the house was still packed. He says he needed time to observe the different housemates so he could figure out which housemates he could trust and form alliances with and who he should tread carefully with.

However, his objectiveness did not stop him from having a good time with the housemates. He says his highlights of being in the Big Brother house were completing the tasks and meeting new people.

“I believe those [tasks] are the reason you feel the growth you feel in that house. They [are] a big part of the experience and I really really appreciate the Big Brother experience for encouraging these tasks and putting pressure on us and really encouraging a work ethic.”

McJunior also highlights how he enjoyed the show’s frequent tasks and how those tasks helped him to expose his talents.

However, he says he does not look forward to maintaining the relationships that he made with the different housemates and has no intentions of catching up with them outside of the house.

He plans to use a quarter of the amount to start a business back in his hometown and invest the rest in other business ventures.

“I’ve always wanted to start a business back home in the rural areas where I was initially born. I’ve always wanted to start a business there and help develop the area,” McJunior concludes.
