Zindzi Mandela served as South Africa’s ambassador to Denmark, and served as the deputy-president of the Soweto Youth Congress. Among other things, the 59-year-old was also an underground operative for the African National Congress’ uMkhonto we Sizwe.

According to President Cyril Ramaphosa’s office, Zinzi died in hospital in the early hours of Monday, 13 July 2020. A woman of many words, Mandela left us with many motivational quotes that we appreciate. Here are some of those words of wisdom.
