Bafana Bafana are continuing to show their courage and prowess after they beat Cape Verde in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final match-up. The game went all the way to penalties after the regulation time of 120 minutes ended goalless. Cape Verde took the first spot kick which saw captain Ronwen Williams pull out a miraculous save. The 32-year-old's heroics did not stop there as he ended up saving four out of Cape Verde's five penalties. Bafana Bafana ultimately overcame Cape Verde 2-1 via the shootout.
