Antoine Griezmann's FM24 save
Antoine Griezmann has revealed that he's taken charge of English Championship club, Blackburn Rovers on Football Manager 2024.
Griezmann recently spoke to ESPN about his latest Football Manager mission, as he hopes to restore the glory of Rovers, who famously won the English Premier League back in 1994/95.
The Atleti legend is a huge gamer and owns an eSports team, Grizi Esports, and his efforts with Rovers on FM24 finds him in sixth place in the Championship!
He's been offered contract extension by the club's board, which is a good sign that he'll get them back up to the top flight of English football.
Griezmann's big signing at Blackburn this season is Scottish left back Calvin Ramsey, a Liverpool who is currently on-loan at Preston North-End.
The 32-year-old has famously taken charge of Arsenal and Newcastle in previous editions of Football Manager, a game he and Ousmane Dembele have a deep appreciation for.
Blackburn are currently 11th in the real-life English Championship. Oh, how they wish they had Griezmann's virtual managerial skills to improve their current situation.
