Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

After Kaizer Chiefs announced that they parted ways with Molefi Ntseki, with Cavin Johnson replacing him in the interim while Arthur Zwane gets redeployed into the club's youth academy structures, more changes are expected for the club's technical team.

A Siya Crew source has indicated that Chiefs' current DStv Diski Challenge team coach Vela Khumalo and Arthur Zwane could swap roles.

The source added that Khumalo could be Johnson's second assistant in the first team alongside Dillon Sheppard, with Zwane returning to his old position in the DDC team.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "New Chiefs assistant coach?" story:

"Chiefs keep on scoring own goals. The Diski team and the 1st team Coaches need to work together and have a healthy relationship. I don't see Arthur working well with Johnson or his future successor. They need to take their development teams seriously, and stop making them a dumping ground of failures.

"Those boys need coaches who are hungry for success. Arthur should be allowed to go somewhere and prove himself. He can come back a better coach one day. I don't know why Chiefs feel like they owe former players anything. You get given a chance and you fail, you move on and prove yourself somewhere," says siyaz who added:

"I don't want to see Mathibe anywhere near the first team or development. They fumbled by appointing him in the first place, now they must fix that and fire him. He has contributed nothing to that goalkeeping department. He has failed, just like Lee Baxter did.

"From being the best in the goalkeeping department to be almost the worst is inexplicable. That fitness coach, Maluleke, doesn't seem to be doing anything either. Chiefs players are forever injured."

"Let's give them a chance, they will bring our glory days," says jmtudi.

"Black excellence of Ntseki and Zwane collapsed by fellow black people. Why are folks happier for the fall of other black men? Rise Zwane and Ntseki, rise. We want Zwane to be head coach as of 1 January 2024," says truthngezana1.

"Mxm, circus. Are they scared of Zwane?" asks Legend CRM083.

"They are bringing another plumber. Chiefs tendencies..." says Saavedra.

"As long as there's no Ntseki, even if they can hire Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean) it's okay..." says ghettovillage411.

"And Zwane is gone! Zwane was the main problem," replies juicecpeter.

"People don't want to believe that Zwane was the problem," replies Legend CRM083.

Kaizer Chiefs insiders informed the Siya Crew as to how Dillon Sheppard is the sole survivor in the first team's coaching staff.

After Ntseki's departure and Zwane's redeployment to the club's academy structures, Sheppard will remain as an assistant to interim coach, Cavin Johnson.

Siya sourced indicate that Sheppard's role has remained unchanged due to the nature of his contract, which isn't connected to Ntseki's position. Sources revealed that Sheppard signed a different contract when he joined the club with Gavin Hunt in 2020.

Sheppard has worked under Hunt, Stuart Baxter, Arthur Zwane and recently Ntseki, and signed a contract extension which ends in June 2024.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Why Sheppard Is The Last Man Standing At Chiefs" story:

"How water-tight can his contract be? Could it be that it demands a huge settlement? Otherwise, what exactly is his role? I've never seen him giving instructions to the players. Seems to me it's another Mngqithi," says msanisto.

"Konje Dillon Shepard's leg was also broken just like that of Bernard Parker. You are the next Chiefs head coach," says Skyvodka.

"How far are we with finding a coach?" asks Legend CRM083.

"Why can't they try Sheppard [For the head coach's role]?" asks Richard wa Lekhosi.
