Kaizer Chiefs could be interested in signing Slovakia international striker Robert Polievka, who is currently playing in his home country for MFK Dukla Banska Bystrica.

A Siya Source close to the club indicated that Chiefs may be interested in signing the 27-year-old in January or at the start of the next season.

The source revealed that the club's scouts initially looked at Polievka three years ago, but things didn't work out because he was already switching teams.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chiefs Want To Bring In Prolific European International Striker?" story:

"Get the coach first, you can not fix the roof before you've fixed the foundation, never," says user876279.

"Are Chiefs admitting that Gonzalez is a defender???" asks ghettovillage411.

"A top striker indeed," says zandiletsefu.

"Whoever decided on Dolly, Gonzalez, Dove, Saile and Bimenyimana, had sour milk in the head," says Soccer Fanatic.

"Not Dove and Saile, those are tough, hard working players. No matter the circumstances!!!" replies Rasta Wa Lekhosi.

"They are ALWAYS interested but at the end of the day they do not sign players, it is just to make news headlines," says peter11664315.

"We are still waiting for Gonzalez to hit the ground running," says Saavedra.

Amakhosi's Marketing Director Jessica Motaung has made a bold promise to the club's ardent supporters following what she's described as a "rollercoaster" season for the Soweto giants.

Despite the many challenges facing the club, the biggest being the ongoing trophy drought that's entering its ninth year, there's plenty of optimism for Chiefs going into 2024.

Motaung mentioned that the club is embarking on a journey filled with determination, with the aim of competing on all fronts. She also stated Amakhosi strive to strengthen the squad, invest in talent development and embrace tactical innovations.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Jessica's Bold Promise To Chiefs Fans After 'Rollercoaster' Year" story:

"Promises, promises, promises as sang by the lovely voice of late Brenda Fassie," says raditselalouis.

"All I want is for them to stop making promising and start walking the walk. We're sick and tired about the same promises, we are not babies," says user876289.

"Their fans are fooled by empty promises. Billiat, Dolly, and Mphahlele etc. They've promised them trophies and still there is nothing, she talks about doing well internationally, Mara they can't even quality for the CAF Confed Cup," says Dominate-downs.

"Chiefs, in my opinion, needs to rewrite their history and not to continue with it. Firstly, by leaving the past alone. Stellenbosch has no history, they have just came in and they have recently won a trophy to show the results of their structure. A structure that is solid and doesn't change often, what changes is the strategy to add into the solidity of the structure," says Jantjies.

"'Reclaiming our dominance in both domestic and international competitions.' In which international competitions did Chiefs dominate?" asks demet1.

"She knows that their fans are dom kops as Baxter said, they believe anything," Dominate-downs.

"Too much talking, year-in and year-out without anything for the supporters to be happy about," says peter11664315.

"Beware what you promise to the hooligans. It might come back to haunt you. They are not that well upstairs," says Saavedra.
