Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

Comments

Kaizer Chiefs have released a statement which confirms that veteran goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has been suspended and his captaincy has been revoked following alleged disciplinary transgressions.

The decision follows media reports that Khune arrived at the Kaizer Chiefs Village under the influence of alcohol, resulting in an investigation and now a suspension.

The Soweto giants decided that Khune "should be temporarily separated from the team until certain conditions have been fulfilled," read parts of their statement.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Breaking: Kaizer Chiefs Drop Khune Bombshell!" story:

"Thank you Kaizer Chiefs management for dealing with the matter in a manner that you did. Yes Khune made a mistake but in your decision making, you didn't forget the good he has done for the badge.

"He'll come back strong and definitely would have learnt a lesson, he's a big boy who's had a sterling career both at Chiefs and the national team. Khune is our own and we should protect him. A BIG THANK YOU TO THE MANAGEMENT YET AGAIN!!!" says ghettovillage411.

"I saw that coming, but you reap what you sow by your actions, Khune as experienced as he is, should have known better," says vincyk.

"Professionally put and dealt with. Khosi 4 life," says KhosiWarrior.

"What about Bobby, was he ever been dealt with professionally? You are commending a kangaroo disciplinary process," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Pitbull.

"Bobby is not and was never a player," replies qhpshopk1.

"Where there are double standards the system shall forever be a mess. It's animal farm, All animas are equal but other animals are more equal than others. Gardoso was right Naturena is a tarven," says His Majesty Yellow PSL Pitbull.

Lucas Ribeiro Costa's first half penalty was enough to seal Masandawana's tenth successive victory, extending their lead in the DStv Premiership by five points with three games in hand.

Mokwena hailed his troops for their hard work and feels their mentality got them over the line, staying adamant that his outfit controlled the game but struggled at times.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Rulani: It's Really The Sign What Really Makes Champions" story:

"We really need to bury the chances we are creating, shooting outside the box is still a problem. If Mokoena forgot to shoot other players do not even try, but look at how many beautiful goals were scored outside the box in CAFCL and AFL.

"It does not help to create chances and you not capitalise on them, hoping that coaches will work on this," says Manephilly.

"Well done Masandawana. Keep raising the bar high. Beat them all until they all submit," says makausemakause53.

"In SA, you would rather be criticised than be complemented for doing a good job, Hunt and Ramovic. My thing is this, if what you're doing is so wonderful, why are you concerned about what Rulani is doing with his players and his team????

"Sundowns breeds an environment that is conducive to success. Billiat, Dolly and Castro left and they failed. Stop sounding ridiculous and take notes, because you're acting like masters that were exposed for being frauds," says ndweniandries4.

"Keep on hugging your players coach, until Gavin Hunt retires from coaching," says bhekilekhuleni6.

"Congratulations to you Coach, the players, the club and the yellow nation, it wasn't easy. But we are allowing the opponent too many crosses into our box and not counter pressing them, I understand the team is experiencing fatigue due to the number of games and jet lag, but Coach, for next season, you need to add more players to avoid running thin like this.

"There is a possibility that Bross may take 11 players from us, so anticipate more injuries, fatigue, jet lag, and suspensions, etc. You don't have to break the bank for these players, players that succeed at our club come from humble teams," says SkyKBY.
