Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

Comments

Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has discussed what the international break means for his side's momentum after beating SuperSport United last weekend, with the race for second place heating up.

Riveiro stated that although they're proud to send players off to represent their nations during the FIFA break, their preparations for their upcoming league game against Richards Bay have been altered due to not having some of their key players available.

The Spaniard is hopeful that the break will keep their players hungry for more success, as they chase another trophy with the Nedbank Cup and CAF Champions League qualification.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Pirates Coach Opens Up On Effects Of FIFA Break" story:

"We have to wait and see but so far it, there's been some glimpses of success. It just needs continuation," says winterv.me, who added:

"Pirates has to play football instead of relying on penalties, while Sundowns bags massive goals."

"I am so scared about this break. Each time we had a break, the team takes a step back. We really don't do well after FIFA breaks," says jamesonngcobo64j64.

Youngster Lindokuhle Mbutho who was previously linked with Sundowns has reportedly surfaced at the Buccaneers.

In October last year, it was reported by the Siya Crew that the South African Junior International was being monitored by the Brazilian, with a view of signing him for their reserve team.

It's been revealed by the Siya Crew that the youngster appeared at the Buccaneers and is set to feature in Joseph Makhanya's Diski Challenge side.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Pirates Beat Downs To Youngster's Signature" story:

"Wrong move young man. Pirates has the best development structures and players but don't trust their product, look at Radioman, Lepasa and many more good players developed by them but are not in their starting line up," says sibo.mthembu.

"He seems promising since he was selected for u20 squad," Bucs365.
