Kaizer Chiefs have no plans of holding on to South American striker Jasond Gonzalez, the Siya crew has been informed. Indications are that the club is already making plans for next season, as they look set to finish another campaign without a trophy in the cabinet.
They were recently knocked out of the Nedbank Cup, which has prompted management to intensify their search for a new coach and start planning which players will no longer be part of the team beyond the end of this season.
Gonzalez joined the Soweto giants on loan for the season but has struggled to make an impact since arriving. The Colombian forward is yet to rattle the back of the net and it’s understood that there are concerns at a higher level with how he has performed since arriving in South Africa.
