As previously reported by the Siya crew, Kaizer Chiefs have been releasing players in order to have a manageable squad for the current season and it seems that they are not done yet.
Siya sources have indicated that Amakhosi could be working on releasing midfielder Kamohelo Mahlatsi.

In the past, Soccer Laduma had reported that his former team SuperSport United could have been interested in taking him on loan but the move did not materialise. This was probably due to the cost of the player since Mahlatsi still has a long term contract with Chiefs.
The source added how the 24-year-old former Moroka Swallows and SuperSport United midfielder has two years remaining on his contract and that is a challenge for potential suitors to get around.
"You see his contract only ends in June 2025. That's the difference from other players whose contracts were coming to an end or had only a year remaining," the Siya source stated.
"But from the look of things it is hard to get a loan move for him as well so the only way the team is trying now is to work on other logistics of how to release him.
"They want to have a manageable squad with players who are in the coach's plan and apparently he is not fitting into those plans as it were," the source told the Siya crew.
Another source added that with the arrival of Tebogo Potsane and Pule Mmodi, the technical team feels they have enough wingers for the team. George Matlou is another option up there.
"They are saying if he failed to play last season when it was mainly him, Sekgota and Matlou as wingers how will he play this season with the arrival of the other two, Mmodi and Potsane?" the other Siya source questioned.
"That's why they want to give him an opportunity to go and play somewhere. But where? Because there are no offers for a loan move at the moment.
"That's why the club is working on a way out for him. I am not sure when it will be finalised but they are working on something right now," the source told Soccer Laduma.
When preparing this story, Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for a comment but the club did not respond yet.
