Orlando Pirates haven't stopped looking for a new striker to strengthen their strike force for next season, and the Siya crew has been informed of how far and wide they have spread their net for their ideal player.
Siya sources close to the player and the club have indicated that Pirates may now be monitoring a striker from the Ivory Coast who plays in the Tanzanian league, with the aim to bring him on board to South Africa next season.

The player's name is Freddy Michael Kouablan and he has recently moved from Green Eagles to Simba SC, a transfer which apparently doesn't change Bucs' interest in him.
"He was one of the most improved strikers in Zambia and he was doing very well there. I think Pirates have good scouts around that region and that's why they saw him and they were impressed. They have inquired about him and they are looking at bringing him in for next season as it's not possible for now," said the Siya source.
"Pirates are still interested in him even though he has moved to Simba in Tanzania. The deal is still on the cards for the end of the season, boss," explained the source.
A second Siya source added that the 25-year-old was a revelation in Zambia.
"He is a good striker. If he goes to South Africa it will be a good move for the player. To tell you the truth, he is really good!" the source told the Siya crew.
Kouablan had enjoyed an excellent run of scoring a goal in every two games in Zambia. Soccer Laduma contacted Pirates for comment but no response was received by the time this story was published.
