A big-money move is targeted in the next deal for Shaune Mogaila after he surprisingly became a free agent when he parted ways with Royal AM earlier this month.

He has been one of the standout performers for the side this season despite the team’s inconsistent results in the league, having made 15 league appearances in the first round of the campaign, all of them as a starter.

The club had hoped to tie the player down on a new contract as the deal he signed on arrival in the second half of the 2021/22 season is due to expire in June. Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu FC have been strongly linked with the lad from Ga-Mashashane, with indications from sources being that he has decided to take some time to decide his next move.
