Having been without a club for over a year and a half, former Orlando Pirates, Chippa United and Sekhukhune United dribbling wizard Thabo Rakhale has finally found a new team.
Rakhale,33, has been without a club since parting ways with Babina Noko in February last year.
The Vaal-born star had a number of assessments at DStv Premiership clubs to no avail despite his vast experience in the league.
However, a door has finally opened for ‘Jomo’ as Rakhale is affectionately known, although it is outside South African borders.
Botswana topflight outfit Township Rollers on Tuesday announced the player’s signature for the 2023/24 season.
“Rakhale Joins Rollers. Township Rollers is pleased to announce the signing of South African winger Thabo Rakhale. Join us in welcoming the skillful former Orlando Pirates, Chippa United and Sekhukhune United star to the Blues,” the club tweeted.
