Mamelodi Sundowns have dominated the South African top flight for the past six years now and haven’t shown any signs of stopping being champions.
Currently, the Brazilians are yet to lose a match this season, and have not even lost a PSL match since Rulani Mokwena took over as the solo head coach at Sundowns last season.

PSL legend Teko Modise discusses Masandawana's ambitions for finishing the campaign unbeaten while most followers believe the Brazilians should cruise to the title this season.
In that way, one might expect complacency to set in, particularly with Sundowns needing to be fresh for the Nedbank Cup and Caf Champions League. However, Modise feels Downs won't let their foot off the accelerator.
“We’ve got no business losing, listen Mamelodi Sundowns stand a chance to make history with every game they play in the league. You’ve gone two years without a losing a game, you got coach Rulani Mokwena that’s never lost a league game since he became the head coach of the club.
“So, you can’t go to TS Galaxy and think this might be the day, no, no,” Modise told the Sundowns podcast on YouTube, the Pitch-Side.
Since then, the game against TS Galaxy has been postponed because the home team's bus was involved in an accident on Tuesday.
“That’s what you want for the fact that Mamelodi Sundowns have committed to so many competitions you want to wrap it up as quickly as possible.
“Also, from a coach point of view you want to wrap it up early so you not necessarily shifting the focus but then maybe divide the group so that you can manage the games and you know your biggest focus is the Champions League and also the Nedbank Cup,” Modise said.
Renowned teams around the continent have come to fear the Tshwane giants, and Modise believes the club has come off age and will at some point claim the Champions League again.
“That’s what Sundowns are on the continent, nobody wants to face them and I just hope with the momentum that we have season in, season out at some point, the Champions League needs to give. I think we have the players capable (to win it),” said the ex-stalwart.
