The South Africa captain joined Sundowns two season ago, and after enjoying a remarkable run of form for both club and country, he has put pen to paper on an extension to his original deal.
Williams was recently linked with interest in his services from abroad, so Sundowns were keen to tie up a player who has been instrumental to inspiring the club to clinch their seventh PSL title in a row.

It has been a fantastic year for the 32-year-old, who has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers on the continent with his performances for both club and country.
Williams was named the Best Goalkeeper at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and was included in Team of the Tournament, while he could also pick up more accolades on the domestic front for helping Sundowns win another DStv Premiership title.
The Bafana Bafana skipper explained it was a simple decision for him to extend his contract with the Brazilians after two years of great success.
“I’m over the moon, it just shows the belief that the club has in me, it shows the value that I’ve brought to the club. There is so much that we can achieve as a team & I’m looking forward to it with lots of excitement," Williams told the club's official website.
“It was an easy decision for me, I’ve been happy since day one. The club has helped me grow as a football player and as a person, so it was a no brainer for me [to extend].”
