Brazil Name Squad To Face England & Spain, Big Names Left Out

New Brazil coach Dorival Junior has named his first squad for their upcoming encounters against England and Spain later this month.

The South American giants continue their preparations for the Copa America by taking on two of Europe's biggest nations.

There was another call-up for 17-year-old Endrick, who has already made two appearances for the five-time World Cup winners.

There are ten Premier League players in the squad, including a re-call for Lucas Paqueta who missed the last international break as he was dealing with betting allegations.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker does not make the squad along with joint-all-time leading scorer Neymar, while Manchester United winger Antony also misses out.

The first match takes place against England at Wembley on 23 March before they taken on La Roja three days later at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Full Squad:

Goalkeepers: Ederson (Manchester City), Bento (Athletico Paranaense), Rafael (Sao Paulo).

Defenders: Danilo (Juventus), Yan Couto (Girona), Ayrton Lucas (Flamengo), Wendell (Porto), Beraldo and Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain), Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal), Murilo (Palmeiras).

Midfielders: Andre (Fluminense), Andreas Pereira (Fulham), Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle), Casemiro (Manchester United), Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa), Joao Gomes (Wolverhampton), Lucas Paqueta (West Ham), Pablo Maia (Sao Paulo).

Forwards: Endrick (Palmeiras), Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal), Raphinha (Barcelona), Richarlison (Tottenham), Rodrygo (Real Madrid), Savinho (Girona) and Vinicius Jr. (Real Madrid).
