It was reported earlier this week that the Red Devils have contacted the French giants to find out about the 31-year-old's availability.
It was claimed his international teammate Casemiro has been pushing for Neymar to join the 20-time English champions amid rumours he could leave PSG ahead of next season.
This comes after sections of the French club's support launched a protest against the ex-Barcelona winger and Lionel Messi, calling for the board to cut ties with both players.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, though, says no discussions between United and the Ligue 1 leaders have taken place as of yet, with the Glazers' ownership of the English club still to be resolved.
The Italian journalist also stated, however, that Les Parisiens will be looking to find a solution for Neymar in the coming transfer window.
No negotiations ongoing between Man United and PSG for Neymar Júnior, as of now. Nothing concrete, no talks… at least with current owners/board. ???????? #MUFCPSG already discussed Neymar’s exit internally, looking for a solution in the summer.?? It has previously been said that, while the club would prefer to sell him permanently, there is a chance he could be loaned out for the 2023/24 campaign.

Chelsea have also been linked with the ex-Santos talent, although their failure to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League has seemingly left them out of the running.
