Paraguayan forward Antonio Sanabria has finally responded to claims that he spat on Lionel Messi during their FIFA World Cup qualifier against Argentina.
Sanabria was accused of spitting towards the Argentina captain during the second half of the defeat on Friday.

Messi revealed after the encounter that he was not aware of the incident and was informed by his teammates about the incident.
The Paraguayan striker has now taken to social media to categorically deny the accusations and reveals his family is getting death threats.
"I feel obliged to go out and deny what happened last night," the striker said on his Instagram story.
"For the simple fact of seeing my family affected and due to multiple threats for an event that never happened.
"I would never do anything similar to any colleague or any person out of respect. What example would I be giving to my daughters by committing an act like that? I recommend that you see all the images."
The reigning World Cup winners return to action on Wednesday when they take on Peru.
