Just days after Manchester United's 2-1 loss to Fulham at Old Trafford in the Premier League, rumours suggest new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is looking to replace Erik ten Hag at the end of the season.
According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, the British billionaire and INEOS chief Jean-Claude Blanc are big admirers of Zinedine Zidane and dream of luring him to England.
Blanc, who previously worked at Paris Saint-Germain, is said to have been "desperate" to bring the Frenchman to the Ligue 1 giants during his time at the club.
Ten Hag has come under serious pressure in Manchester amid the team's ongoing form issues, with United legend Gary Neville recently saying he believes a decision on the Dutchman's future has already been made.
While the 54-year-old has insisted that he and the new co-owner are on the same page, it appears there are still questions over whether or not he will continue in the position in the coming campaign.
Zidane has not worked since leaving Real Madrid in 2021, but is still among the most successful managers of the past decade following his three consecutive UEFA Champions League triumphs with Los Blancos between 2016 and 2018.
It is believed that convincing the former France captain to accept an opportunity at United would be difficult, although he did recently state he is ready to return to football.

An official decision on Ten Hag, meanwhile, is likely to only come at the end of the season, unless results and performances get significantly worse.
