The Red Devils have confirmed that 21-year-old Sweden international Anthony Elanga has joined Nottingham Forest in a deal reportedly worth £15 million (R340 million), becoming the club's third player sale of the window after Alex Telles and Zidane Iqbal.

Elanga came through United's academy and represented the club on 55 occasions, scoring four senior goals.

The forward found himself playing regularly under previous manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but struggled for game time this past season under Erik ten Hag.

Following the Dutchman's arrival, Elanga amassed just 702 minutes of football across all competitions.
