It was not a happy home debut for new manager Quique Sanchez Flores at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan as his side were defeated 2-0 by Athletic Bilbao on Thursday night.
Goals from Mikel Vesga and Aitor Paredes condemned Los Nervionenses to a second straight defeat under the Spaniard as they now sit one point away from the relegation zone.
After the match, Spain's all-time top appearance-maker was speaking to DAZN Espana to reflect on his team's loss, but during the interview, he was heckled by an angry fan who is believed to have been using all types of expletives towards the player.
Still on camera, the central defender then stopped speaking to the journalist and addressed the supporter by saying: "Have a little respect when we're talking. Respect the people and the shield. Respect and shut up now!" as per Sport.
