As per an ESPN report, four players from Argentine club Velez Sarsfield have been taken into custody by police "in connection with a rape case".
Goalkeeper Sebastian Sosa, defender Braian Cufre, midfielder Jose Ignacio Florentín and striker Abiel Osorio were detained after an alleged victim accused them of sexually assaulting her in a hotel.

Per the report, 37-year-old Sosa, who has been capped once for Uruguay's senior team, has denied any wrongdoing.
