Both six-time European champions have officially confirmed that they will be parting ways with their current managers once the ongoing campaign concludes.
Following a string of poor results recently, Die Roten announced that they and Thomas Tuchel had decided that the German tactician will leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the 2023/24 season.
In the case of the Anfield club, Jurgen Klopp confirmed in January that he has decided to step down as Liverpool manager after his eight-and-half-year spell at the helm.
The Stuttgart native has won everything available in club football since taking charge of the Reds, but according to The Telegraph, Alonso is not eager to succeed a cult figure of Klopp's nature, with the Bavarians now believed to be his likeliest next landing spot.

Alonso is currently enjoying a historic season at the BayArena, with the German outfit, under his tutelage, being unbeaten in all competitions and in contention to win their first-ever Bundesliga, a second UEFA Europa League as well as the DFB-Pokal titles.
