Kevin De Bruyne has reportedly made a decision on what he would like to do regarding his future amid speculation linking him with teams in Saudi Arabia.

With rumours heavily linking Kevin De Bruyne with a move to the Saudi Pro League, the veteran playmaker has reportedly come to a decision regarding his future.

The 32-year-old played only a few minutes in the first half of the 2023/24 campaign as a hamstring injury he sustained in Manchester City's opening Premier League match of the season against Burnley ruled him out for the remainder of the year.

He returned with a massive bang in the new year, providing assists in four straight league matches.

This has only escalated Middle Eastern clubs' interest in the five-time English champion, with teams such as Al Ittihad and Al Hilal believed to be keen on his services and set to push hard to land the Drongen native's signature.

According to HITC, however, the dynamic midfielder has other plans for himself and is more receptive to the idea of extending his contract at the Etihad Stadium rather than moving to the oil-rich state of Saudi Arabia.

Despite his age, De Bruyne has shown how integral he is under Pep Guardiola, and as a result, it seems the Belgium international wants his new deal to reflect that, with the same report claiming that an extension would be contingent on financial aspects as well as the sporting vision of the club.
