A former Orlando Pirates player, who now plays for Young Africans, is looking to upset big-spending Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League this evening.
Yanga will competing in their first-ever Champions League quarter-final when they host the South African champions on Saturday evening.

Mahlatse Makudubela has been with the Tanzanian since 2024 after arriving from Marumo Gallants.
"We know what we are going to be up against and we have to psych ourselves up mentally, physically and otherwise," Makudubela told reporters, as per Goal.
"Young Africans is also a big club and they compete at the highest level. They played in the final of the Confederation Cup last season, won the treble and the league I don’t know how many times. "
The history of this club is rich just like Mamelodi Sundowns. We know their big spending habits and they can buy any player at any given time.
"We come in here as the underdogs and we’ve got nothing to lose. We have made history for the first time in I don't know how many years of this club’s existence. There is a lot at stake for us, we will try to match Sundowns in both legs."
