The date for 2022 FIFA World Cup champions Argentina's match against losing AFCON 2023 finalists Nigeria has been confirmed.

The 2021 Copa America and 2022 World Cup victors will take on the Super Eagles in the United States next month, replacing the match that was scheduled during cancelled tour of China.
Argentina will first play El Salvador on 22 March at the Lincoln Field stadium, before going up against Nigeria on 26 March at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
This has been announced by the Argentine Football Association, with captain Lionel Messi expected to be involved in the friendly matches as the Albiceleste begin their preparations for the 2024 Copa America.
His participation will see him miss Inter Miami's MLS encounter against the New York Red Bulls on 23 March.

Argentina were initially set to play Nigeria on a tour of China between 18-26 March.
