The DStv Premiership season kicks off today and most clubs have unveiled their unreal home and away kits for the season. Here's a look at the TOP FIVE best kits for the upcoming league season.

The start of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season is just hours away, with a majority of clubs unveiling their dazzling new kits beforehand.
From the big three Sundowns, Chiefs and Pirates, to the vibey coastal sides, there's been some clean kit reveals going into the new season.

Here's a look at the top 5!
Number 5: Stellenbosch FC
Stellies released their new away jersey for the upcoming campaign, which seems to source inspiration from an anniversary Atletico Mineiro kit from the 2021/22 season.
The white away kit, with gold detailing, incorporates a large printed map of Stellenbosch and the greater Cape Winelands region.
This remarkable design seems to be a reimagination of a fan-designed Atlético Mineiro 2021/22 anniversary jersey, which showcases the map of the Minas Gerais state in Brazil, where the club is based in the city of Belo Horizonte.

Number 4: Mamelodi Sundowns
The reigning DStv Premiership champions will be styling in their blue away kit against Sekhukhune tonight in the league's opener, and it's simply one of the club's best away kit designs.
Sundowns' 2023-2024 away jersey is blue and yellow wit h the same design as the home kit, that features an illustration of audio wave forms.
As per the club's website, both kit's are designed behind 'The Beat Goes On' concept, that showcases the African rhythm which Masandawana fans produce on match days.
The graphic on the away jersey features a print of audio waveforms representing the drum beats alongside the singing and chanting of the supporters and players which pulsate throughout the stadium on matchdays.
The blue away kit will be worn with white shorts and blue socks.
Number 3: Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs and Kappa have reunited after a successful partnership in the 90's with a new home kit that certainly delighted the 'Khosified' fans.
The gold and black home kit features a broken zig-zag pattern as well as tonal shades and black sections. The pattern appears to be a reworking an old Kappa Chiefs home jersey for the early 90's.
The predominantly gold home jersey symbolising Amakhosi's commitment to success and excellence, with bold black inflections accentuating the sleek design, which will be complemented by either black or gold shorts on the field, as stated by the club.
The home kit also pays tribute to the Soweto giant's legacy, instilling both players and supporters with a sense of pride.
Number 2: Cape Town City
The Citizens revealed their electric new home kit for the upcoming campaign, with Umbro taking the club's designs to a whole new level.
Released under the "for the city" campaign, the home jersey features a navy base colour with abstract light blue stripes going across the jersey.
Yellow stripes are seen on both sleeves, featuring some trippy/futuristic blue detailing on it. It stands out as one of Umbro's best kit releases globally.
Number 1: Orlando Pirates
Designed by South African luxury fashion brand Thebe Magugu, the Buccaneers' pistachio green away kit is a smash hit!
An outstanding and inventive design, the adidas Orlando Pirates away jersey features details of a large skull print across the front, following a similar pattern to the home jersey.
As mentioned on the club's website, within the skull print, there's a maze-like graphic that represents the Pirate's long history and the progressive role it played in South African society.
To complete the eye-catching design, a Thebe Magugu logo is shown the back neck as a sort of sign-off by the esteemed young designer.
