Masandawana shot-stopper Ronwen Williams took a trip down memory lane, revealing his football firsts in a short interview with his club.
The player revealed his first ever club, his first pair of boots, and reminisced over his professional debut for SuperSport United during the 2010/11 season.

Ronwen Williams' football firsts
It's always interesting to see footballers look back on their core memories regarding the sport, especially when its details that aren't easy to remember — like your first pair of boots, or first ever organised football match etc.
Williams re-lived some wholesome football memories, with his "firsts" being the topic in discussion. The 31-year-old revealed his first ever football club, Shatterproof United, and that his first ever coach was his father!
He also revealed that he didn't start out as a goalkeeper, and only moved into goal around age 11.
"When I started, I was in-field, I was a striker and towards maybe [ages] 11, 12, 13, is when I started taking goalkeeping more serious," says Williams.
In terms of his first pair of boots, Williams recalled a classic adidas pair, but wasn't exactly sure if they were his actual first ever football boots:
"Probably the Argentina's," says a gleaming Williams, who then remembered that his first pair might have been a cheap pair from a local store.
Williams revealed his first ever gloves were from Mitre, bought for him by his brother, around the ages he started taking the goalkeeping position more seriously.
He also looked back at his first ever professional game, which came against the now defunct Free State Stars.
